Our History
The Level Up Lacrosse Academy was founded out of pure love for the sport of lacrosse.
Founder Ian Kirby had recently graduated from Adelphi University when he realized he was not ready to walk away from the game. He was determined to use his knowledge of lacrosse and love for the sport to help others succeed.
Ian started by training a friend of his family which led to establishing a loyal client base from word of mouth. As a result, Level Up Lacrosse Academy was founded in 2020.
Clients of Level Up Lacrosse Academy get to work with Ian 1 on 1 in a private setting to allow them to address any specific weaknesses in their game and ask any questions they may have.
Although Ian plays Attack, he is well versed in all areas of the sport and can train players of any position.

Ian has been playing lacrosse for his entire life and has earned many prestigious awards and won several championships throughout his career.
He has played for many elite lacrosse programs on Long Island starting in high school. Ian has played for Massapequa High School, Towson University, Adelphi University, and was recently drafted by the New York Lizards.
His lacrosse experience and statistics with established programs have allowed him to develop a resume that speaks for itself.
